Functions of Hangers in Plating Line

The main functions of hangers in Plating Line are conducting electricity, supporting and fixing workpieces, ensuring even current transmission to the part surfaces and achieving high-quality electroplating.
Conductive Function
As a conductive medium, hangers transmit electric current from the power supply to the workpiece surface, allowing metal ions to be reduced and deposited on the cathode (workpiece) to form a uniform coating. The hooks must have a sufficient conductive area to avoid local overheating or uneven coating caused by poor contact.
Support and Fixation
Hangers firmly clamp workpieces to prevent shaking, collision or falling off in the electroplating tank. They are especially suitable for large-size or precision parts, such as automobile bumpers and eyeglass frames, ensuring production safety and coating integrity.
Improve Production Efficiency
With reasonably designed loading structures (such as spliced and adjustable hangers), multiple workpieces can be electroplated at the same time to increase single-batch processing capacity, and support continuous operation of automated production lines.
Optimize Coating Quality
New-type hangers (such as PVD hangers with rotating components) can drive workpieces to rotate during electroplating, reduce shielding effects, and improve the uniformity and coverage of electroplated coatings.
