An plating line is modern equipment operating continuously in strict accordance with predefined working procedures, technological processes and time requirements. It can process parts with identical electroplating processes but different coating thickness combinations on one automatic line, and realize diversified process combinations to meet electroplating demands of different substrates and products.
Equipment damage of the production line is largely caused by improper operation, alongside product quality defects and limited design service life. Auxiliary equipment shall be managed with assessment standards equivalent to those for main facilities. Causes of damage occurring within rated service life shall be analyzed and relevant accountability shall be implemented. This measure helps elevate service efficiency and lifespan of auxiliary equipment, and improves overall electroplating production management.
1. Process Parameters for Full-board Electroplating Hangers
The bath solution mainly consists of copper sulfate and sulfuric acid. A high-acid low-copper formula is adopted to ensure uniform coating thickness distribution and excellent throwing power for deep holes. Sulfuric acid concentration ranges from 180 to 240 grams per liter, while copper sulfate content is maintained at around 75 grams per liter. Trace chloride ions in the solution work jointly with brighteners to enhance surface gloss.
2. Process Maintenance
Replenish copper brightener timely based on kiloampere-hour consumption every day and inspect the operating status of filter pumps. Wipe cathode conducting bars clean with damp cloth every 2 to 3 hours. Conduct regular solution analysis and adjust brightener dosage weekly via testing. Clean anode conducting bars and tank terminals, and refill copper balls inside titanium baskets on a weekly basis. Check titanium basket bags for damage and replace defective ones monthly, and remove anode slime accumulated at basket bottoms. Replace filter pump cartridges every two weeks.
Composed of plating tanks, travelling cranes, frames, electric control systems, power supplies, ventilation, circulating filtration, temperature heating, air agitation, liquid level control and cathode moving devices, the plating line forms an integrated multi-functional automatic control system. It supports both barrel plating and rack plating. The line adopts linear cantilever travelling cranes equipped with liftable lifting hooks.
