The Processing Procedure of Plastic Electroplating Equipment

The production process in an electroplating workshop consists of three core stages: pre‑plating surface treatment, electroplating process, and post‑plating treatment. Plastic electroplating equipment mainly refers to the machinery directly used for processing plastic parts in these procedures.
1. Pre‑plating Surface Treatment
This stage includes polishing, brushing, rolling, sandblasting, degreasing, rust removal, etching, neutralization and cleaning.According to the material, shape, surface condition and processing requirements of plastic parts, appropriate procedures are selected to refine the surface, making it flat and smooth — a critical step for high‑quality plating layers.Main equipment used: grinding machines, brushing machines, sandblasting machines, rolling machines and various fixed processing tanks.
2. Electroplating Process
It is the key procedure of the whole production. Based on product requirements, single‑metal or alloy electroplating processes (such as rack plating or barrel plating) are adopted to achieve corrosion resistance, wear resistance and decorative appearance.Main equipment used: various fixed tanks, barrel plating tanks, hanging fixtures, plating baskets and other auxiliary tools.
3. Post‑plating Treatment
Common processes include polishing, passivation, coloring, drying, sealing and hydrogen removal. One or more treatments are applied as needed to meet final quality standards.Main equipment used: grinding machines and various post‑treatment tanks.
